Thatcher's Field Trip to the Apple Orchard....

It was FREEEEZING this morning at the cider mill! We really needed to have our hats and gloves, but who knew?? Thatcher was so excited about this trip that he woke up early! I said "Thatcher! It's your field trip today! I can't wait!" He said "Mommy, I think you can wait cause it's just today!"

We went on a hayride out to the orchards. We picked apples, ate fresh donuts, drank fresh apple cider (which we wished would have been warm), jumped from the straw mountain, went through the petting zoo, played on the huge playground, then came home! This afternoon at Thatcher's request, we made an apple pie with our freshly picked apples that is baking in the oven as we speak! What a fun and chilly day!!
